Description
Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Job Description
- Work schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) or based on department needs; Every Other Hour (EOH) rotating with regular staff
- Must have at least 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- Prior travel experience required
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
- May need to float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles if needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- TNCC certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Completion of MOAB or CPI non-violent crisis intervention training
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
