Description
Registered Nurse - Psychiatric (RN Psych)
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Holidays and every other weekend required
- Weekend off requests require coverage or prior approval
- Blocked scheduling must be pre-approved
- Training provided for charge nurse responsibilities
- Possible floating to a similar inpatient addiction rehabilitation unit
- Uniform: Navy blue scrubs required
Required Qualifications & Credentials
- Valid RN license in New York
- Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience
- Psychiatric nursing experience within the last year
- Completion of Arnot Naloxone Train the Trainer Course
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Notes
- Must complete detailed address history for the past 28 years without gaps for certain background checks
- Color headshot photo required for onboarding
- Floating to related units may be required
- Strict adherence to scheduling and coverage policies
