Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM


Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide specialized nursing care in a hospital setting.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kansas
  • Minimum of 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with PCU experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required prior to clearance
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

  • Driver’s license or state ID must be current, show front and back, and address must match licensing requirements.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
  • Optional: Unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leader within one week of start.
  • MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required prior to clearance.

This position requires thorough preparation and documentation to meet all credentialing, health, and competency standards before and during the assignment.
