Job Opportunity: RN Step Down
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work on a unit with the greatest need, which may be Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry Acute Care.
- Must have skills to float within the assigned unit or to other sites within a 40-mile radius as needed.
- Accepts candidates with experience in Med-Surg or Stepdown nursing; credentialing is the same for both.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
