Description

Respiratory Therapist (Temp, Nights) – Lansing, MI

Job Summary

  • Provide respiratory therapy and patient care according to physician orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards.
  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
  • Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Educate patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment use, and safety precautions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to respiratory therapy.

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Shift & Hours

  • Night shift
  • 12 hours per day

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
  • Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

  • Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs
  • Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner
