Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Temp – Myrtle Beach, SC

Job Summary

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare, and other facilities using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. Perform exams ordered by physicians, obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent images, and transmit results to Radiologists or Cardiologists for interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process portable X-Ray exams and transmit images to Radiologists.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to Cardiologists.
• Unload and transport portable X-Ray equipment into facilities.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment.
• Handle physical demands including pushing/pulling equipment weighing 50–100 lbs multiple times daily.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in South Carolina
• Active ARRT certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Valid Driver’s License

Physical Demands

• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50 lbs or more up to 16–24 times per day.
• Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys reduces weight but some manual handling inside facilities may increase load.
