Patient Population: Adults and newborns
Unit Beds: 15 total (6 Labor & Delivery, 9 Postpartum)
Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN standards

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care

Required Skills and Experience

Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD) experience (no VBAC)
Cesarean section care
OB triage
Nonstress test administration
Postpartum and nursery care including newborn procedures
Management of hemorrhages
Fetal monitoring and interventions
Management of pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, and hypertensive crisis patients

Facility is an LDRP unit combining Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Triage, Postpartum, and Nursery care
Patient care includes postpartum couplet care and a Level 1 nursery
Personality fit: Knowledgeable, flexible, team player, and hardworking

Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
