Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU (Travel)
Location
- Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Call requirements: Yes
- No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
Unit and Patient Population
- Unit: ICU/CVICU (Blended ICU)
- Number of beds: 16
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Patient population: Adult and Geriatric
- Equipment used: Baxter pumps
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Medhost
- Float requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (primary RN) and ED holding (as needed)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience, with CVICU experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability to float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis
