NICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Laguna Hills, California
Position Details
- Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse
- Location: Laguna Hills, California
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (07:00 - 19:30)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level I.
- Must have experience attending high-risk deliveries.
- Floating required to Labor & Delivery (L&D); possibility of floating between two nearby facilities.
- Weekend shifts scheduled as needed to meet unit demands.
- No on-call requirements.
- Documentation system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California.
- Minimum 3 years of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience, including experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Experience working with high-risk patients.
