Job Opportunity: Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse
Location: Santa Barbara, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Description
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and provide patient education.
- Deliver holistic, individualized care considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers.
- Adhere to policies, industry standards, laws, and regulations to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
- Engage in continuous professional growth and development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinic experience, with clinic experience within the last year.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Additional Requirements
- Must complete and sign facility-specific documents prior to start, including job description acknowledgment, standards of business conduct, regulatory orientation, vendor training, code of conduct, overpayment refund policy, and conditional offer of employment attestation.
- TB questionnaire signed by candidate and healthcare provider within 90 days of start, renewed annually.
- References: 2 professional references required within 3 years for clinical positions.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
