Description
Registered Nurse Emergency Department (Emergency Room)
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a 48-treatment space Emergency Department (ED)
- Patient ratio approximately 1:5
- Experienced ED nurse required, specifically for night shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with ED experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- 8 hours of Stroke Training
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this assignment
- Must maintain all certifications and health requirements throughout the assignment
- Stroke training and fit testing are annual requirements
- Physical and TB testing must be current and compliant with annual renewal policies
