Description
Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel/Contract)
Location: Modesto, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 - 7:15)
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other Saturday and Sunday; holidays as needed
Job Summary
- Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in an acute patient setting.
- Provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and manages transitions of care.
- Develops individualized care plans considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers through effective communication.
- Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws to ensure optimal patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
