Respiratory Therapist (36 hrs, Nights and Every Other Weekend)

Job Description
- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), with every other weekend coverage
- Unit: Respiratory
- Facility size: 371 licensed beds including Med/Surg, MICU, ED, Labor and Delivery, Level 2B Nursery
- Rotation: Night shift is straight nights; day shift may rotate to 11 AM – 11 PM when needed
- Patient ratio: 4 Respiratory Therapists staffed on nights
- Equipment used: PB980 Ventilator, Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator
- EMR system: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
