Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Outpatient Clinic

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days/week, 40 hours/week)
Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
Patient Volume: Approximately 125 visits per day
Specialty: GI Oncology


Job Description

  • First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.
  • Work setting: Outpatient clinic focused on GI Oncology.
  • Required skills include:
    • GI Oncology care
    • Cardiac Arrest/CPR response
    • Starting IVs
    • Laboratory testing (blood glucose via glucometer)
    • Specimen collection
  • Documentation system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
  • Oncology nursing experience within the last year
  • Clinic experience
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
