Registered Nurse (Rehab) - Travel Position

Location: Northport, Alabama
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Provide nursing care in a rehabilitation setting, supporting patients recovering from stroke, hip fracture, pulmonary conditions, and other diagnoses.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team focused on improving patients' functional ability and independence after acute hospital stays.
• Care for patients receiving 24-hour medical monitoring and supervision by physiatrists, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and rehab nurses.
• Use advanced therapy equipment such as body weight support systems, treadmills, Dynavision machines, and simulation vehicles to aid patient recovery.
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Work schedule includes 36 or 48 hours per week, every other weekend, and holidays as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a rehabilitation nursing setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Additional Information

• This is a patient-facing, clinical role.
• Not a remote position.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech.
• Dress code: Solid navy scrub colors.
• Parking is available.
