- Night shift, 12 hours per day
- 36 hours per week
Job Summary
- Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions according to state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Collect and assess health data to evaluate patient status
- Provide health teaching and counseling
- Deliver supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through delegation, supervision, consultation, or teaching
- Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
- Document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Utilize resources effectively
- May float to other departments within scope of competency
- May be required to be on-call during scheduled shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited School of Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced certification in ACLS, NRP, or PALS issued by the American Heart Association
