Work Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Two position options:

  • Four 10-hour shifts: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
  • Four 10-hour shifts: Sunday through Wednesday

Job Summary

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and/or psychosocial deficits.
• Assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills.
• Design, implement, and modify treatment plans including type and frequency of treatment.
• Document patient progress and seek consultation as needed.
• Educate patients and family/caregivers about deficits.
• Assist with discharge planning and provide guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Oversee care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
• A degree at the Bachelor's level
• Experience in an Inpatient setting
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
