Description

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • 36-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; Night: 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM)
  • Rotation based on unit needs; not guaranteed
  • Every other weekend and rotating holidays required
  • Labor and Delivery experience is required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts
  • Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • MGB Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
  • All license and certification verifications require primary source verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing
  • TB positive candidates must provide a negative chest x-ray dated after the positive test
  • Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years
  • Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
