Description
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- 36-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; Night: 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Rotation based on unit needs; not guaranteed
- Every other weekend and rotating holidays required
- Labor and Delivery experience is required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- MGB Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
- All license and certification verifications require primary source verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing
- TB positive candidates must provide a negative chest x-ray dated after the positive test
- Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
