Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Surgery (Travel)
Location
- Saint Louis, Missouri
Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month
- Call Requirements: Weekend and overnight rotating call
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
Preferred Experience
- Two years of current inpatient, acute care hospital experience
- Heart and vascular experience is a plus
Job Overview
- Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort
- Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with state nursing regulations and organizational standards
- Float requirements: Standard, within scope
Additional Notes
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1; exemptions must be client approved
