Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
Location: Lapeer, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) supporting a full spectrum of surgical procedures, including general elective and critical/life-saving surgeries.
- Work in a 222-bed acute care hospital with a Level II trauma designation.
- Facility offers specialized services including heart, cancer, orthopedic, general surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, women’s services, wound care, and sleep disorders.
- Recognized nationally for clinical excellence in orthopedics, pneumonia, congestive heart failure, and surgical care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
- Minimum 2 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Information
- 12-hour shifts.
- Facility is the primary healthcare provider for Lapeer County and surrounding areas.
- Experience in a trauma-designated acute care setting is beneficial.
