Description
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:15 PM - 7:15 AM), includes weekends and rotating holidays
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit setting
- Intensive Care experience is required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- MA nursing licenses require verification through both NURSYS and the Massachusetts Board of Nursing
- No fit testing can be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start date using the designated form
- Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
- Assignment confirmation form required upon acceptance and for any changes in start date
