Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Job Summary
Seeking an RN with specialty in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care for a 13-week assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Neurology nursing experience
Onboarding Requirements
- License/certification verification with machine-generated date within 30 days of start
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
- Trinity-specific forms and agreements including:
- Code of Conduct
- I9 form
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- Non-Employee Upload Form (pages 1-3 and 28)
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
- Criminal Background Check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years, including SSN verification) dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
- EPLS and OIG exclusion reports dated within 30 days
- Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
- NSO report dated within 30 days (including aliases and statewide checks for MI)
- System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start
- Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
- Iowa Sing Report (Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries) within 30 days prior to start
- OFAC sanctions screening within 30 days of start
