Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Days)
Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Must have EPIC experience; proficiency and experience must be clearly noted on profile.
- Required to float to Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Travel experience is required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract).
- Candidate must have their own vehicle.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at submission; no more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. No time off requests after submission will be approved.
- Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color without designs or cartoons; no hoodies allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York.
- Minimum 3 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
Profile Submission Requirements
- Resume and skills checklist (updated within the last year).
- 1-2 supervisory signed references from within the past two years of employment.
- Permanent address must be included in profile and must match driver’s license or state ID; address will be validated during compliance.
- Candidates from the following New York counties will not be considered: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.
Additional Information
- No scheduling accommodations will be considered; do not submit if accommodations are requested.
- Non-billable orientation: 8 hours.
- Overtime, holiday, and call-back multipliers: 1.25x.
