Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Pratt, Kansas
Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per week: 36
- Workdays: Weekdays with some weekends
Job Description
- Medical Surgical nursing with strong orthopedic experience required
- General surgery experience also needed
- Skills required: IV start, telemetry (Tele), charge nurse experience
- Experience with total hips and knees (orthopedic surgeries) is a plus
- Rural health experience is a plus
- Familiarity with TRUBRIDGE EMR preferred but training available
- Must be able to quickly adapt and "jump in" to the role
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedic experience
- General surgery experience
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
