Job Opportunity: Oncology Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5 days a week, 40 hours/week)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in an Oncology setting focused on Genitourinary/Urology Clinic
- No call and no weekend shifts required
- Floating within scope of practice may be required to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling accommodations are not available
- Charting system: EPIC
- Facility type: Teaching hospital
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of Oncology nursing experience, with Oncology experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic charting system
Additional Information
- First-time travel nurses are accepted
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Return-to-Office (RTO) restrictions: 7 days
- Scrub color: Navy Blue
- Background checks and credential verifications are closely monitored and must meet facility standards
- Fingerprinting must be completed using Ohio-specific codes and within 1 year of start date; new fingerprinting required if break in service exceeds 90 days
- Candidates must complete required facility-specific compliance and ethics policies annually
- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate required prior to start and updated annually
