Description
CT Technologist Position
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Call Requirements: Approximately every third weekend and at least one holiday as needed
Work Environment: May need to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
Required Qualifications
- Current Wisconsin Radiographer license for CT Technologist
- ARRT CT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA required)
- Minimum 3 years of CT technologist experience
- Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners
- Prior travel experience required (must have completed prior travel roles)
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Ability to meet department call and holiday coverage needs
- Flexibility to float to other sites within a 40-mile radius if needed
Onboarding & Compliance Requirements
- Submission of current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics within one year of start, updated every 3 years
- Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings:
- Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Two Varicella vaccines or serological evidence of immunity (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Tdap vaccination (valid for 10 years, no declinations accepted)
- Fit test for respiratory protection (3M 1860 Regular, 3M 1860 Small, or 3M 1870+), updated annually
- Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Tuberculosis screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
- Drug screening: 12-panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Verification of education and professional references prior to first assignment
- Criminal background check, EPLS, and employment verification completed within 90 days prior to start and updated annually or after breaks in service longer than 90 days
- Submission of a forward-facing headshot with white or blue background (no alterations)
- Valid driver’s license or state ID matching home state address for compact license holders
Additional Notes
- Must be able to provide all required documentation and complete onboarding steps prior to or at the start of the assignment
- Professional references: at least two required before first assignment
- Assignment length is approximately 13 weeks
This position is suitable for experienced CT Technologists with prior travel experience who are flexible with shift and call requirements and able to meet comprehensive onboarding and compliance standards.
