Description
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Joplin, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Room
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours guaranteed weekly)
- Weekend hours as needed
- Must float to other units as required
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Critical care or ER experience preferred
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Adaptable to change in a complex and technical environment
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1 (exemptions require approval)
- Dress code: Black scrubs
