Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Specialty: Vascular Interventional Radiology
  • Shift Schedule:
    • 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
    • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
    • Rotating schedule between these shifts
  • On-Call Requirement: Yes, rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Weekend Requirement: If on weekend call
  • Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs (no floating to sister facilities)
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
  • Radius Rule: Must live within 60 miles of the facility
  • Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience, with experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), critical care, procedural nursing, and moderate sedation
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
