Registered Nurse (OR) – Boise, Idaho
Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (Operating Room)
- Location: Boise, Idaho
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
- Shift: 06:45 AM – 07:15 PM
- Call Requirements:
- Two to three 12-hour shifts per six-week schedule on Saturdays and Sundays (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM or 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM)
- Coverage on holidays if they fall on a weekday
- One “asterisk” call shift per week, with possible extension of shift by up to 2 hours for cases running past scheduled time (paid as on-call time)
Required Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications & Documentation
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience working with Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Neurology experience
- Orthopedics experience
Summary
This is a long-term OR RN assignment requiring strong clinical experience in trauma, neuro, and orthopedic surgery. The role includes weekend and holiday call coverage with potential extended hours. Candidates must hold current Idaho RN licensure and maintain all required certifications and health screenings. Comprehensive background and professional verifications are mandatory prior to onboarding.
