Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Facility & Unit Overview

  • Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds
  • Joint Commission Accredited
  • Certified Chest Pain Center
  • Level 3 Trauma Center
  • Cath Lab Department
  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
  • Call requirement: Minimum 10-12 shifts per month, including up to two weekend calls per month
  • May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Patient Population & Unit Focus

  • Cardiac Cath Lab patients
  • Procedures include Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology (IR), Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), and atherectomy

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, including experience within the last year
  • Experience with Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), atherectomy, and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
