Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility & Unit Overview

Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds
Joint Commission Accredited
Certified Chest Pain Center
Level 3 Trauma Center
Cath Lab Department
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Call requirement: Minimum 10-12 shifts per month, including up to two weekend calls per month
May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility

Patient Population & Unit Focus

Cardiac Cath Lab patients
Procedures include Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology (IR), Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), and atherectomy

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, including experience within the last year
Experience with Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), atherectomy, and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
