Job Opportunity: RN CVICU
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Job Description
Seeking highly motivated critical care registered nurses who excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The unit cares for some of the most critically ill patients, primarily focusing on cardiothoracic surgery (open heart recovery) and neuro/neurosurgery. The team also provides ICU-level care for COVID-19 patients, including those requiring ECMO support.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
- CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Valid Driver’s License
Additional Information
- The role involves caring for critically ill patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions.
- Experience with ECMO patients and COVID-19 ICU care is relevant.
- The position requires strong critical thinking and ability to work in a high-acuity environment.
