Job Overview

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS certification is required before start
1 year of experience in Stepdown
Stepdown experience within the last year
Telemetry experience
ED - Emergency Department experience

Schedule and Assignment Details

Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
Weekend coverage is required as needed by the facility
No call required
RTO must be made up later in the assignment
RTO is not approved in the first week
Only 1 holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
Night shift orientation occurs on day shift, and availability for the entire week is required

Emergency Department
68 beds
Typical patient ratio is 4:1
Level 1 trauma, stroke, STEMI, and regional burn center

Additional Notes

Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required from November 1 through April 1
Black scrubs required
Unprofessional attire and jeans are not allowed
High-acuity experience is preferred
Trauma/peds experience and handling 200+ patients per day are preferred
Local candidates are paid below the travel rate
Housing is not mentioned
