Typical patient ratio is 1:2; may be 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity and staffing
Patient population includes medical, surgical, trauma, and stroke patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC

Preferred Qualifications

NIHSS certification

Schedule and Work Expectations

Weekend coverage as required by the facility
Standby for low census with 1-hour report time
Floating to areas of clinical competence

Additional Notes

Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations and exceptions are not accepted
Black scrubs are required
No t-shirts or sweatshirts unless approved by the facility
