Description
RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location
- West Burlington, Iowa
Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Estimated 36-hour workweek, with possible overtime
- 13-week contract
Setting
- Medical-surgical and telemetry unit
- May care for geriatric, adult, medical/surgical, and telemetry patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process
- Coordinate care with other health team members
- Interact effectively with patients and support persons while maintaining professional nursing standards
Additional Work Expectations
- May float to another campus at times
- May occasionally be placed on call during low census
- If called in, must be able to arrive on-site within one hour
