Operating Room RN - Pediatrics

Job Overview

• Location: Austin, Texas
• Shift: Weekdays, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• Schedule: 5/8s

Role Summary

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Support circulating nurse responsibilities, including patient monitoring and documentation in the electronic health record.
• Support scrub nurse responsibilities by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support surgical workflow and patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• PALS issued by American Heart Association.
• Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience within the last year.
• Pediatrics OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience).
• Driver's License.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of operating room RN experience
• Pediatric operating room RN experience is a plus
