Operating Room RN - Pediatrics
Job Overview
- Location: Austin, Texas
- Employment type: Long-term assignment
- Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 06:30 - 19:00
- Contract length: 12 weeks
Role Summary
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Support patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Perform circulating nurse responsibilities, including patient monitoring and documentation in the electronic health record.
- Provide scrub nurse support by maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, and assisting surgeons.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics or Operating Room experience within the last year
- 2 years of Pediatrics or Operating Room experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Driver's License

- Signed assignment agreement

- Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
- Specialty exam with minimum 80% passing score and no more than 2 attempts
- Core competencies completion with minimum 80% passing score and no more than 2 attempts
