    Required Qualifications

    • Active Washington RN license or Compact License
    • BLS certification
    • ACLS certification
    • NIHSS certification
    • Driver’s license at time of submittal
    • Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience

    Unit Details

    • Medical ICU/PCU float unit
    • 24 beds
    • Patient ratios: 1:1 and 1:2 for ICU acuity; 1:3-4 for PCU acuity
    • RN is required to titrate drips
    • Charge and resource nurse present on every shift
    • Offsite central monitoring; nurses are expected to monitor and interpret strips
    • RT coverage is available 24/7
    • Common patient types include sepsis, COPD, COVID, pneumonia, CRRT, post-cardiac arrest care, post-surgical recovery, and overflow from cath lab/interventional caths

    Scheduling and Floating

    • Self-scheduling
    • May work many Sundays; weekends are in high demand
    • Holidays rotate with permanent staff
    • No call or standby requirement
    • May float to other inpatient floors or ED holds, and may also float to MS/Tele floors if needed

    Additional Notes

    • Flexible, team-oriented candidate preferred
    • Epic familiarity is preferred; experienced candidates may test out of Epic
    • Start date and requested time off must be approved after offer
