Job Overview

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekly hours: 36
Setting: Acute inpatient behavioral health/addictions hospital
Patient population: Adults

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
Behavioral Health experience within the last year
BLS
HWC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Details

Staff rotate between two units
Weekend coverage is every third weekend
No call requirements
Typical patient ratio is 12:1, depending on census
Patients must be medically cleared before arrival
Patients with lines or tubes are generally excluded, except CPAP and up to 2L oxygen
Most charting is paper-based
