RN - Radiology Associate

Location

• Long Island City, New York

Contract

• 9 weeks
• Full-time
• Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Schedule: 3x12

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Radiology experience with 2 years of experience
• Radiology experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• 2 years of radiation safety experience
• IV experience
• Point of care testing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC experience
• IV experience
• Point-of-care testing experience
• Radiology experience

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered only with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
• Assess patient needs and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, transitions, and health promotion
• Support patient experience through therapeutic communication and purposeful rounding
• Contribute to quality, safety, and process improvement efforts
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
• Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly
• Help manage supplies, staffing resources, and patient throughput
