RN - PACU
Location
Billings, Montana
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Job Summary
- Provides nursing care in the PACU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Performs health teaching, counseling, delegated medical functions, patient referral, documentation, and treatment plan monitoring.
- May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Montana
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS Certification issued by American Heart Association
- BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association
- PALS Certification issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit or service
- Certification as appropriate for the unit or service
