X-Ray Technician
Job Overview
- Location: Morristown, New Jersey
- Employment type: Travel allied role
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
- Schedule notes: Every other weekend and 1 on-call shift every 3 weeks
- Hours per week: 30
Role Summary
- Perform imaging and treatment procedures according to state, federal, and professional guidelines.
- Maintain equipment, assess patient safety and comfort, and coordinate daily imaging procedures.
- Handle additional assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in New Jersey
- Radiology Technician (1 year of experience)
- Radiology Technician experience within the last year
- ARRT
- BLS
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care
- Initiative, problem-solving, analytical ability, and strong oral and written communication skills
- Current awareness of clinical practice trends, healthcare informatics, and hardware/software innovations
