Role Overview
- Interpret the plan of medical care and provide individualized nursing care
- Assess patients and support nursing clinical decision-making
- Administer medications and monitor for reactions or side effects
- Record medical information, vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Oncology experience within the last year
- 1 year of oncology experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Resume including the past 7 years of work experience, with city and state listed for all work experience and education
- 2 references within the last 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
- Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission

- Nurse aide registry check
- Medication exam with a passing score of 80%
- Spaulding orientation summary
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity
- TB test documentation
- Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA
- Criminal background check
- Massachusetts CORI check
- Education verification
- SSN trace
- National sex offender check
- Exclusion checks
- Confirmation of assignment/POI form
- Fit test and respirator medical clearance attestation, if required for the skill
