ICU RN

Overview

Travel/contract ICU RN role in Chesapeake, Virginia
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
13-week contract
Every other weekend, floating, and holidays are required
48-hour contracts are available
Longer assignments through January 9, 2027, are available
Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays

Patient Care Setting

Typical patient ratio: 1:2–3
Floating may include Stepdown, Emergency Department, or Medical-Surgical units caring for ICU patients being held

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic
Strong neuro critical care experience
Ventilator management
IV drip titration
Conscious sedation
Dysrhythmia recognition and management
Stepdown experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
Med Surg experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Compliance Notes

Candidates with any license or background hits will not be considered
Local RN candidates living within 50 miles are not eligible
Submission must include a completed cover sheet, current NURSYS report, and all requested time off listed on the cover sheet
