Description

RN - Rehab

Overview

  • Travel RN position in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital
  • 13-week contract
  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required

Setting and patient population

  • Inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
  • 59-bed hospital
  • 11 beds are in a locked neuro unit
  • Cares for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, and other severe injuries or illnesses

Required qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS
  • Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
  • Rehabilitation experience within the last year
  • Acute Care experience

Preferred experience

  • Rehab or acute care experience

Work expectations

  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 to 1:7
  • No call required

Additional notes

  • Joint Commission certified
  • Stroke and Brain Injury certified/programs
  • CARF certified
