RN - Ambulatory Care

Location

Schedule

  • Days
  • 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Arrive at 8:30 AM for huddle prep

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New York
  • 2 years of clinic experience
  • Clinic experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Experience working with adult patients
  • Experience working with pediatric patients
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
  • Chronic disease management skills
  • Ambulatory care experience
  • Urgent care experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of inpatient experience

Role Summary

  • Provides direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting
  • Performs patient screening, triage, pain management, falls prevention, discharge planning, and patient education
  • Coordinates care, including referrals, follow-up, and prior authorization support
  • Supervises LPNs, medical office assistants, nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff
  • Participates in quality improvement, clinical audits, outcomes reporting, and patient-centered medical home activities
