RN - Ambulatory Care

Schedule
- Days
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Arrive at 8:30 AM for huddle prep
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- 2 years of clinic experience
- Clinic experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Experience working with adult patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Chronic disease management skills
- Ambulatory care experience
- Urgent care experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of inpatient experience
Role Summary
- Provides direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting
- Performs patient screening, triage, pain management, falls prevention, discharge planning, and patient education
- Coordinates care, including referrals, follow-up, and prior authorization support
- Supervises LPNs, medical office assistants, nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff
- Participates in quality improvement, clinical audits, outcomes reporting, and patient-centered medical home activities
