Job Overview
- Location: Carmel, Indiana
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Setting: Bariatric surgical unit / progressive care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- 2 years of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Driver's License
Onboarding / Pre-Start Requirements
- Signed assignment agreement
- Ascension onboarding requirements education attestation
- Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
- Badge photo with a white or blue background, no alterations or filters
- Skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Core competencies exam completed within one year of start and updated every 3 years
- Pharmacology exam completed before start and updated every 3 years
- Medical surgical exam completed before start and updated every 3 years
- EKG exam completed before start and updated every 3 years
- Color vision completed before start and updated every 3 years
- Criminal background check completed within 90 days of first assignment and updated annually
- EPLS completed within 90 days of start
- Employment verification for the past seven years
- Education verification relevant to clinical work
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
- Fit test required for all travelers
- MMR documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella documentation
- Tdap documentation
- Health statement or completed physical exam
- Confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead
- At least two professional references completed prior to first assignment
