Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
• Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to the physician’s treatment plan.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including documenting readings and reporting needed adjustments or repairs.
• Assist physicians with radiation therapy and simulation procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide clear communication to reduce fear and anxiety.
• Complete clerical tasks such as updating appointments and entering or revising patient records.
• Maintain accurate documentation, inventory supplies, and follow radiation safety standards.
