Unit Overview
- Progressive cardiac care unit
- Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow
- 28 beds
- Typical patient ratio: 1:4-5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Driver's License
- At least two professional references completed prior to first assignment
- Resume or profile
- Driver’s license or state ID that is not expired and matches the address on file
- Completion of the required skills checklist, pharmacology exam, medical surgical exam, core competencies, EKG exam, education attestation, nursing contract worker onboarding, and education verification
- Completion of the required health history and screening items, including MMR, fit test, hepatitis B documentation, health statement, TB screening, varicella, Tdap, color vision, and 12-panel drug screen
- Completion of required background and employment verification checks
