Description
Med Surg (Acute Care) RN
Location
- Macomb, Illinois
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Shift
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in Illinois
- BLS
- PALS
- 3–5 years of nursing experience
Preferred Experience
- Rural hospital setting experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
- Experience with outpatient infusions
Unit Details
- 16-bed Med/Surg unit
- 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- 1 CNA available for assistance
- No call requirements
- Every other or every third weekend
- No mandatory holiday requirement
- Floating may include safety sitter or other supportive roles
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for medical and surgical patients
- Interpret telemetry strips
- Maintain thorough charting
