Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- First Assist (5 years of experience)
- First Assist experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CNOR
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Assignment Details
- Role is in a Surgery Recovery Unit
- Day shifts only
- Scrubs provided
Role Summary
- Works as a perioperative team member under the direct supervision of the surgeon
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Provides direct patient care, patient/family education, and care transitions
- Delivers holistic, individualized care and coordinates interdisciplinary plans of care
